Company unveils fuel-efficient tractor
Navistar recently debuted the ProStar Plus, an updated version of the ProStar Class 8 tractor, officials say. This version is lighter and more fuel-efficient than the previous one. The new one is 700 pounds lighter and has an updated aerodynamics system.
The new system also has an advanced exhaust system to comply with new emissions regulations. This, combined with lighter weight and better aerodynamics, makes the new version much more fuel-efficient than the previous model.
