Fuel your cash flow. If you want the highest initial payment, we have a flat fee non-recourse program that will do that. Or if you want a recourse program at a possibly lower cost, we have that too.
What is Freight Factoring?
Freight factoring is is a financing tool that provides your company with capital. Factoring is not a business loan. Rather, factoring involves selling your invoices at a discount for immediate cash. The factoring company waits to get paid, while you get immediate use of your funds.
Non-Recourse factoring means TBS takes the credit risk.
If a load is not paid because of a credit problem then the freight factoring companies take the loss. Credit protection is very important because every month brokers and shippers go out of business still owing money to motor carriers. Non-Recourse works well for companies with 1-5 trucks that haul for numerous customers and who would be adversely affected by a broker non-payment.
Recourse factoring means you take the credit risk.
If you are comfortable taking credit responsibility, this program has the benefit of offering lower fees because the truck factor (TBS) is taking less risk.
TBS offers a variety of truck factoring programs.
We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your individual needs to help determine what type of transportation freight factoring program would work best for you. TBS also provides the benefit of being able to change programs. If you start off with one program and decide that switching to another program would be advantageous, we are happy to make the change.
