Jose owns Montanos Trucking out of Olden, Texas. After years driving for someone else, he decided to go into business for himself... and he hasn't looked back!

1. How long have you been in business?
   2 years with my own company... but I drove for many years with another company. I like being my own boss.

2. How many trucks do you have?
   I currently have 2 trucks.

3. Where do you transport?
   We will haul anywhere but most of our freight is around Texas and the southern states.

4. Do you see a rise in Hispanic owner-operators? And if so, why?
   Yes, we think Hispanic ownership is growing because of the same reasons we got into the business, most folks want to work for themselves.

5. Why did you decide to factor?  
   We needed a quicker pay than what the shippers offered.

6. How has TBS helped you with your business?
   When we need help with advances, TBS does it promptly and we are very happy with the service they provide. Plus the $1,000 was a nice surprise!
